The DAO is a smart contract running on a blockchain (“Ethereum” or “BNB-Chain”). Once the DAO has been created, the rules for its operations can only be changed only under the agreed procedure.
DAO act as a cryptocurrency storage and are an attractive target for hackers. So, the absence of hacks is an important indicator of the platform’s security.
